Join Marvelous Marvin on Saturday May 10th as we help St. Vincents De Paul Thrift Store & Food Pantry collect food donations to help feed Hernando County. St. Vincent DePaul is the largest food pantry in Hernando County, open 6 days a week with over 120 volunteers. Last year St. Vincent De Paul generated $ 584,624 BACK into Hernando County, including food, clothing and furniture, housing assistance, and utility and medical assistance. Last month St. Vincent De Paul served 1,846 families, 5,320 individuals and distributed over 114,000 pounds of food. The St. Vincent De Paul Thrift store helps generate funds for these programs, along with donations from the community.
So, join us Saturday May 10th …bring any type of non-perishable food, make a donation, have a hot dog and soda, register for prizes and discover the amazing job St. Vincent De Paul does taking care of our community. Food drive hours are 9 till 2 on Saturday May 10th and we will broadcast LIVE from 10 till 1. St. Vincent De Paul is on Kass Circle just off Spring Hill Drive about 2 miles east of US 19.
