NPR City Hall – May 31st, 10-Noon

May 31 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

The City of New Port Richey welcomes summer with New Port Richey Public Library’s Annual Touch-a-Truck Event and The New Port Richey Hurricane Expo all rolled into one fun-filled day!

It’s this Saturday from 10AM till 1 at New Port Richey’s City Hall and Public Library on Main Street downtown New Port Richey. John Kelly will be there broadcasting live.

At the library’s Touch-a-Truck Event explore firetrucks, police vehicles, and other large service vehicles up close. Inside and outside the library enjoy food trucks, face painting, hands-on activities, giveaways, and more. It is also a great opportunity to register for the Summer Library Challenge, which keeps readers of all ages engaged throughout the summer. The Hurricane Expo will provide critical information on storm preparation, safety tips, and a variety of vendors offering resources. Jennifer Hubbard, Warning Coordination Meteorologist at the National Weather Service, will deliver presentations at 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM inside City Hall. These sessions will offer valuable insights into storm forecasting, emergency alerts, and how residents can stay informed and safe during hurricane season.

We will see you this Saturday for this free community event from 10AM till 1 downtown New Port Richey. Get more info online at cityofnewportrichey.org.
