The City of New Port Richey’s Centennial celebration culminates this weekend with Friday’s SOLD OUT Centennial Masquerade Ball and Follies at the Spartan Manor on Friday, and the official Centennial program, held in Sims Park this Saturday October 26th , with opening remarks from the Centennial Steering Committee and city manager at 11:45 am followed by continuous music and entertainment including headliner Shadow Fax, and a Riverside tribute to former New Port Richey resident, Johnny Cash at 5:30PM!
This Saturday’s events conclude with an AMAZING lighted drone show produced by Open Sky, at 8:15. The drone show features over 100 drones, flying precision patterns, set to music, creating breathtaking images and designs in the sky over Sims Park. This Sunday is a full day of family fun in Sims Park with an old fashioned family picnic from 11 till 4, field activities, entertainment, and a golf cart parade at 6pm.
