9-11 MEMORIAL MUSEUM / FRIENDLY KIA

September 9, 2022 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am

On Thursday September 8th the Tunnel to Towers 9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit will arrive at Sims Park in New Port Richey.

There’s only one exhibit like this…hosted by retired New York Firefighters who were there and responded on that day….and this 911 weekend it’s in New Port Richey! The 83-foot tractor-trailer that transforms into a 1,100 square foot will exhibit World Trade Center materials, radio transmissions from first responders, and items found in the rubble after the Twin Towers collapsed.

The exhibit will be open to the public on Friday September 9th with a special ceremony, and Marvelous Marvin will be at the exhibit broadcasting live from 8-10am, thanks in part to the Law offices of McPherson and Thomas. Then the exhibit is open 9:00AM till 5:00 PM on Friday, Saturday from 10 til 6 and Sunday from 10 till 1:30…opening again 3:30 till 7 pm, following Sunday’s 2 PM memorial service.

John Gilliss and Friendly Kia and the City of New Port Richey have made this exhibit possible, to make sure we never forget the thousands of Americans we lost that day. Remember and honor those we lost on 911, September 9th through 11th, in Sims Park, downtown New Port Richey.
