It’s the biggest party on the water! The Fisherman’s Shack homemade raft race is back this Saturday!
Chelle Fontaine will be there broadcasting live starting at 1. This hilarious event is a local staple that requires creativity and craftsmanship. It’s free to enter and all rafts must be handmade and self-propelled. Styrofoam, plywood, empty buckets, anything that floats! No paddle boards or motors. Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place! Up to 500 dollars in cash prizes.
The Twisted Tea Street Team will be there handing out free merch including limited edition 4th of July party favors. You could win a paddle board, a Twisted Tea River Raft, floating pool cooler, t-shirts, hats, koozies, and more just by picking a Hits 106 water balloon. Also enjoy sample tastings of Twisted Tea. Fisherman’s Shack will have drink and shot specials, along with food trucks, and vendors.
We will see you when the Raft Race festivities kick off at 1 this Saturday at Fisherman’s Shack on Old Dixie Hwy, just a half mile North of Clark Street in Hudson.
