For more than 38 Years the Lighthouse for the Visually Impaired and Blind has educated, empowered, and employed people who are visually impaired and blind, providing residents of Pasco, Hernando and Citrus counties with no cost vision rehabilitation. One of their largest fundraisers of the year, The Chasco Coronation Ball, has been cancelled again in order to keep everyone safe during the pandemic. Proceeds from the event go to the Lighthouse’s Early Intervention, Children’s, and Teens’ Programs which provide services and training to visually impaired and blind babies, children, teens, and their parents.

Wednesday April 21st, Hits 106 welcomed the Lighthouse for the Visually Impaired and Blind into the studio for a daylong fundraiser to support their cause that suffered financially from the pandemic.
