Live Broadcast-Volunteer Way Stuff the Bus

Thousands in our community go to bed hungry every day. Most have no hope of a better tomorrow. The Volunteer Way and its hunger relief partners assist approximately 23 thousand families every month by providing them with food and personal items. This time of year it’s important for us to give a hand up to those seeking help.The Volunteer Way and Pasco County Public Transportation are inviting you to help them ‘Stuff the Bus with Food’, to ensure that the people of our community won’t go hungry this Thanksgiving. Join Marvelous Marvin saturday November 18th for a live broadcast from 9to 11AM at the Walmart on the corner of SR 54 and LittleRd in New Port Richey while we ‘Stuff the Bus with Food”. There will also be a collection bus at the Walmart in Wesley Chapel on Bruce B Downs & 54, Collections will start at 8 AM and go till 2PM at both locations. Donations of food items requested are canned meats, canned tuna, canned veggies like green beans, peas, corn, etc., stuffing, instant mash potatoes, French onions, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, pumpkin pie, fruit, pasta, canned soup, and the like. They are also in need of turkeys, hams and-or chickens. Sponsors for ‘Stuff the Bus with Food’ include Greg Henry Repair & Restoration, George’s Wholesale Tire Pros, the Law Office of Debora Diaz, Ed Burke State Farm, and Sunshine Signing Connections. We will see you November 18th while we come together and help people in need by ‘Stuffing the Bus with Food’.
