Come celebrate Earth Day 2023!
Covanta Pasco, Pasco Parks & Recreation, Pasco Cooperative Extension, Keep Pasco Beautiful and Pasco County Recycling present Earth Day 2023 Saturday, April 22nd, from 9 till 1 at Crews Lake Park located off of Shady Hills Road.
Join Chelle Fontaine as she broadcasts live from 9am till noon at the Earth Day celebration courtesy of Covanta Pasco. This is a free event that’s fun for the family. There will be children’s crafts, and educational displays. Learn how to recycle in Pasco County. You can release lady bugs, and have confidential documents shredded by Shred 360 from 9am – 12pm. There’s electronics recycling, mercury collection, and household hazardous waste collection on site.
Meet the skunks from Florida Skunk rescue, learn about Florida Fox Tales fox rescue, Dundee Farms will be back with their critters, and the folks at Owls Nest Sanctuary for wildlife. Shop the native plant sale and visit the upcycle vendors.
